Triangle Achievement Scholarship

Triangle Achievement Scholarship

Founded in 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon is the largest social fraternity internationally. The Gamma-Theta chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon began at the University of Florida in 1950 and has played an active role in the Greek community and on campus ever since.

Our chapter is proud to announce that applications for our annual Triangle Achievement Scholarship are now open. There will be three scholarships awarded to incoming freshmen gentlemen who are attending the University of Florida in the fall of 2023. The awards are as follows:

First place: $500

Second place: $250

Third place: $100

The Triangle Achievement Scholarship candidates will be evaluated upon four main criteria which the gentlemen of Tau Kappa Epsilon pride themselves on: academic accomplishment, extracurricular involvement, community service and leadership experience.

Applicants are in no way required to join Tau Kappa Epsilon or any other fraternity. It is due no later than August 1st, 2023, and the applicants must complete the application online and email a resume to: tkeufchaplain@gmail.com

The Gamma Theta chapter will be holding the Triangle Achievement Banquet in early fall for the scholarship finalists. Award winners will be notified by mid-September.

Applications are available here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Scholarship Chairman, Shawn Carey, at s.carey@ufl.edu

The Gamma-Theta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at University of Florida was installed as a chapter on January 28, 1950.

Since 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon has never had an exclusionary clause for membership. TKE does not judge men on their wealth, rank or honor, but instead on their personal worth and character.

Our mission is to "to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life." In essence, we build Better Men for a Better World.
